This is a limited-featured trial version of Aglowsoft SQL Query Tools for a 20-day usage limit. After 20 days of usage, customers will have the option to purchase the software over the Web and obtain a serial number to unlock the software electronically.

What is New ?
Version 2.0 supports XML Export. You will be able to export table data/selected records in XML format. You can use Microsoft Access 2002/2003 to import the XML file to an Access database.

Version 2.1 supports adding of scalar functions to SQL statements.
Version 2.2 supports multiple tables in the Add WHERE Clause dialog.
Version 2.3 supports foreign key with more than one foreign key column when defining relationship.
Version 2.4 supports export of table data to Access 2000 database.
Version 2.5 supports export of table data to ODBC database table and DROP TABLE feature.
Version 2.5.1 is a minor update containing minor enhancements and a few bug fixes.
One sample database was removed to reduce the download size.

Version 3.0 supports user-defined SQL. There is a change in SHM (Schema) file format to significantly improve the performance of saving and loading of SHM (Schema) files that contain a large number of tables and relationships.
Version 3.1.1 is a minor update containing minor enhancements and a few bug fixes.
Version 3.2 adds Unicode support and is available for Windows NT platforms.
Version 3.3 adds support for ANSI inner and outer joins.
This is the ANSI syntax for joining tables:

left_table [INNER | LEFT | RIGHT | FULL] JOIN right_table
ON left_column_name = right_column_name

Version 3.4 supports export of current tree node and its sub-tree to an XML file.
Version 3.5 supports stop fetching rows of data while processing query.
Version 3.6 uses Quick View Plus (if installed on your computer) to view image/BLOB(SQL_LONGVARBINARY) column in a document window. View screenshots.

Version 3.7 supports foreign key with more than one foreign key column where the foreign key column name can be different from the primary key column name when defining relationship.
Version 3.7 also supports export of current tree node and its sub-tree to an LDAP Data Interchange Format (LDIF) file.

Verison 4.0 includes support for entity relationship diagram and DDL Generation for relationships. View screenshot.
Version 4.1 supports export of SHM (Schema ) file to an XML file.
Version 4.2 manipulates relationships with more than one foreign key column as one entity to resolve ambiguity and improve performance.

Version 4.3 is a minor update containing minor enhancements.

Version 4.4.2 fixes a bug to ensure that Unicode string constants in Microsoft SQL Server are in N'xxx' format.
Version 4.5 supports browsing the contents of a table or a view for any OLE DB compliant data source.
Version 4.5.2 contains minor bug fixes.
Version 5.0 features support for any OLE DB compliant data source.
Version 5.1 contains major enhancement to the view definition file (VDF) file format.
Version 5.3 contains minor bug fixes.
Version 5.3.1 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Version 5.3.2 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Version 5.3.3 contains minor bug fixes.
Version 5.3.4 contains a couple of bug fixes related to export of result sets to
  Microsoft SQL Server 2008 through ODBC.
Version 5.3.5 contains a couple of bug fixes related to
  Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 15 using "dsn=" syntax instead of "DSN=".
Version 5.3.6 is a minor update containing minor enhancements.
Version 5.3.7 allows users to execute ad hoc queries from Aglowsoft Browser.
Version 5.3.8 supports inserting, updating, and deleting rows while opening a table.
Version 5.3.9 allows users to export results of a query execution
   as a set of INSERT SQL statements or to a CSV file.
Version 5.5 contains major bug fixes related to export of result sets to
   Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise 15 and others through ODBC.
Version 5.5.1 allows users to open a second SHM file for comparison.
Version 5.5.2 supports column functions in the "Add WHERE Clause" dialog.
Version 5.5.3 adds some improvements to the constructions of ANSI Joins
   and fixes some bugs in using the "CROSS JOIN" syntax, which is not supported
   in Microsoft Access,Adaptive Server Enterprise,DB2,and Informix.
Version 5.5.4 is a minor update containing minor enhancements.
Version 5.6.0 allows users to open a second table/query for comparison.
Version 6.0 adds security features to protect VDF and SHM files with passwords.
Version 6.0.1 fixes an important security hole regarding execution of protected SHM files.
 

System requirements

  1. Supported Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7.

  2. Screen resolution of at least 800 x 600 pixels, 16 bit color depth or higher.

  3. Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher.

  4. Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC 2.8).

  5. When configuring a data source, check the option Enable Quoted Identifiers (if available) to allow support of quoted identifiers.

  6. If you are unable to export table data to Access 2000 database, you may need to install Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8.
